IN THEATERS! This review was written by a Trek fan-not a Trekkie. Fans enjoy the franchise when it’s good and criticize it when its bad-Trekkies trust Berman’s and Braga’s intentions, accept “ST: Voyager” as quality entertainment and wear Starfleet uniforms to jury duty.

A TALE OF TWO LECTERS: “RED DRAGON” VS. “MANHUNTER”

People will go see “Red Dragon” and most of them could care less about “Manhunter.” It’s a shame that today’s audiences will accept a mediocre remake because it’s new and massively hyped, but I guess that’s just the way things are now…
