Nathan Zellner is officially in the house, and therefore CineVegas is finally getting started. He’s been hanging with me in the HQ, and we’ve been fondly remembering our almost-consummation of manly love at last year’s fest. Fingers may’ve lightly touched fingers, manly hugs exchanged…

OK, so really we just talked about “Children of Men,” “Pan’s Labyrinth,” “The Wicker Man” re-make, “United 93,” “World Trade Center” and Tommy Wiseau’s “The Room.” Because all conversations end with Tommy Wiseau’s “The Room.” Oh, hi Mark indeed…

Oh, and apparently I’m the first guy to eat nachos at a Tshai-Ming Ling experimental film. I guess I feel nachos go with anything… except maybe Miike…
