COMIC-CON 2003 PEEPING TOM
Another summer, another San Diego Comic-Con has come and gone…and another major ass-whoopin’ all of our wallets have taken. Once again, the Con promised to be bigger than ever, and upon our arrival we discovered that they weren’t bullshittin’. This meant a lot more running around to do, more loot to nab and at least double the amount of alcohol to consume in order to ease the pain.
Good thing Film Threat had a booth this year, manned by Agent 15 filmmaker Augusta and some of the girls from the Velvet Hammer, subjects of her latest documentary “The Velvet Hammer Burlesque.” This gave us a place to crash when feeling the burn of harassing people during our various panels and wandering around buying a bunch of shit we really don’t need. It also served as a great place to help spread the word of FILM THREAT DVD – it’s a mouthful.
Personally and professionally, it was an overwhelmingly successful year…next year is going to be bigger and better!
