Pretty much making fun of the ridiculousness of Shyamalan’s film, while injecting plenty of good drug humor, “Unbakeable” is perfect as one of those films you pop in the VCR, or download on the computer, to entertain the wasteoids at your party. The film is funny on its own, but getting baked before viewing is definitely recommended.
22. A VISIT FROM THE INCUBUS
Anna Biller has left us in complete awe over her ability to capture a long passed period of film – this time around, a 1950s Technicolor western with a touch of the supernatural.
23. THE WARRIOR AND HIS PEACE
It’s about understanding people … and that includes the kind of people who blow up buildings in order to further a political or religious cause. If that makes you uncomfortable, so be it. Nothing will ever change until we comprehend the mindset behind such actions and acknowledge that the people who commit these atrocities aren’t demons. They are us, and that can be the hardest thing to face.
24. WOMAN X
William works in a bank and dislikes people, especially homeless ones. His refusal to give the street beggars money comes back to bite his Brit ass one night when a woman he once pushed aside brutalizes him and robs his 75 pounds.
25. YIN YANG
The deed is done. The slo-jams were playing on the hi-fi and a young couple got busy in the sack. And now the aftermath…it’s not what you’d expect.
