Last week in PETE JONES’ “DOUBTING RILEY” DIARY, a test audience sent Pete back into the editing room with a new set of eyes, but now that more of the film is getting locked together, he’s getting a bad case of the woulda, coulda, shoulda’s.
Last week, a little piece of me died when I locked two reels of “Doubting Riley”. This week, a little more dies as I need to turn in another two reels. It has to happen eventually, but the actuality of doing it hurt. It hurts because there is so much more I can do and I believe it would make the film better, but it’s not in the budget.
