Last week in PETE JONES’ “DOUBTING RILEY” DIARY, Pete’s film grew too close to completion for comfort and now that it’s nearly finished, he bids us a fond farewell.

The picture is locked. Music and sound will change a little bit, but for the most part, the “Doubting Riley” I just watched is the “Doubting Riley” hopefully all of you will see. So I figured I would make this my last column because the stories from the mix (adding music and sound to the movie) couldn’t be more boring. I’m not trying to downplay its importance, but literally I will be sitting there for an hour trying to figure out what level of traffic noise we want to hear outside of the apartment. And another half hour on why one fart sounds wetter and not as crisp as another fart.
