PALESTINIAN CINEMA TAKES CHICAGO IN APRIL 2003
Last April, the artistry and the culture of the Palestinian people was brought to the U.S. through a wealthy schedule of films screened at the Chicago Palestine Film Festival. The festival hosted the Chicago premiere of many films, including the documentary Gaza Strip.
Now, after its first successful year, the Chicago Palestine Film Festival has sent out a call for films by Palestinian cinematographers, directors and artists for the 2003 and subsequent festivals. Works being accepted include short, experimental, documentary, and feature length films. The deadline for all film submissions is January 15, 2003.
