The late submission deadline is December 9, 2002 with a processing fee of $30 for shorts and $40 for features. (There is a $5 discount for applying online.) The processing fee is nonrefundable. Submissions will be acknowledged upon receipt. Videotapes and any application materials will not be returned. Please do not send stills unless requested to do so.
Only works completed in 2002, or works that will be completed in early 2003 are eligible for consideration. Works in progress will be considered for the Festival provided they will be completed no later than February 20, 2003. Shorts must be less than 50 minutes in length. Works shot in any format will be accepted for screening.
Films and videos submitted to the Festival will be considered for both competitive and non-competitive categories (determined by Festival Committee). Prizes will be awarded in the following categories: Narrative Feature, Narrative Short, Documentary Feature, Documentary Short, Animated Short, Experimental Short and Music Video. Non-competitive categories include First Films, Narrative Special Screenings and Documentary Special Screenings.
