FILM STUDENTS KNOW WHAT’S BEST
Being boasted as the largest student film festival in the United States, BestFest 2003 is taking place at the San Diego Natural History Museum in Balboa Park, Saturday and Sunday, April 26 & 27.
Nearly 600 high school and college students from 42 area schools submitted 278 entries to BestFest 2003.
BestFest 2003 is expected to attract over 2,000 attendees who will be invited to take part in filmmaking workshops held the afternoon of both festival days. These workshops will be lead by such industry notables as Myrl Schreibman, author of “Indie Producers Handbook: Creative Producing From A to Z,” and award-winning acting coach and director Gregory Bach from the Theatre Shed.
