POW! FEST KICKS ASS
The First Annual Portland Women’s Film Festival will debut May 29 – June 1. Known as POW! Fest, the event is an open, competitive festival that will showcase films from unknown female filmmakers out there. All fest profits will be donated to social service agencies serving women in the Portland area.
More than 100 filmmakers submitted works for consideration by the POW! Fest selection panel. Of these entries, a select twenty-two films from around the globe will be screened during the four days of POW! Fest. The festival slate includes narrative, animated, experimental, and documentary films.
POW! Fest will be held at ITISNESS, (3016 NE Killingsworth, Portland, Oregon) on May 29 – June 1.
