LAFF 2003 ANNOUNCES WINNERS
The 2003 IFP Los Angeles Film Festival has announced its award winners:
Target Filmmaker Award – Best Narrative Feature: Crude directed by Paxton Winters (This award carries a $50,000 cash prize.)
Target Documentary Award – Best Documentary Feature: “Be Good, Smile Pretty” directed by Tracy Droz Tragos (This award carries a $25,000 cash prize.)
Audience Award – Best Narrative Feature: “The Magdalene Sisters” directed by Peter Mullan
Audience Award – Best Documentary Feature: Sunset Story directed by Laura Gabbert
Audience Award – Best Short Film: “The Vest” directed by Paul Gutrecht
Best Narrative Short Film: “five deep breaths” directed by Seith Mann
Best Documentary Short Film: “Foo-Foo Dust” directed by Gina Levy and Eric Johnson
Best Animated Short Film: “Historia del Desierto (Stories of the Desert)” directed by Celia Galan Julve
