MORE HOT DOCS THIS FALL
The 12th Annual Hot Springs Documentary Film Festival, scheduled October 24 through November 2, will showcase approximately 85 films. Festivalgoers can expect to view films focusing on topics ranging from civil rights to Alzheimer’s disease along with a selection of films by regional filmmakers concentrating specifically on Arkansas.
On November 1, 2003, the Arlington Hotel will host the Gala for 400 guests and filmmakers. This black tie event, which honors all of the filmmakers, features Ken Burns as the keynote speaker. Along with Ken Mandel, Burns will participate with the Technical Seminar, “Cyberdocs”. Other special programs include Open Screening and Rough Cuts. Closing Night Festivities include Ken Burns premiering his newest film, “Horatio’s Drive: America’s First Road Trip”.
