INTERNATIONAL ASIAN AMERICAN FILM COMES TO SAN FRANCISCO
Presented by the National Asian American Telecommunications Association (NAATA), the San Francisco International Asian American Film Festival (SFIAAFF) takes place March 10-20, showcasing the best in Asian American and Asian cinema. The SFIAAFF annually presents over 130 films and videos across 11 days in three cities: San Francisco, Berkeley and San Jose.
The 2005 SFIAAFF program features a diverse and exciting selection of films from 23 countries spanning all points of the globe: Australia, Cambodia, Canada, China, France, Germany, Hong Kong, India, Iran, Iraq, Italy, Japan, Kazakhstan, Philippines, Russia, Singapore, South Korea, Spain, Sweden, Taiwan, Thailand, United Kingdom and the United States.
This year’s film program includes Saving Face, The Motel, Cavite, Old Boy, Swades and Cutie Honey.
