BIFF ANNOUNCES 2005 FILMS

The Brooklyn International Film Festival (BIFF) has announced the film line up for this year’s event. A record 150 films will be shown at the festival, in competition, from June 3-12, 2005 at the Brooklyn Museum.
Highlights of the films to be shown include the following narrative feature films:

A PERFECT FIT: New York filmmaker’s gripping story of an unstable man in a dangerous relationship featuring Adrian Grenier (The Entourage). Director: Ron Brown/United States, 2004, 85min – New York Premiere

STEAL ME: Tale of a young thief and loner who impacts the lives of a family that takes him in. Director: Melissa Painter/ United States, 2004, 95min – East Coast Premiere

EROSION: A bored couple devises a risque’ game. The director’s last film with husband cinematographer, Neal L. Fredericks (The Blair Witch Project) before his tragic death. Director: Ann Lu, United States, 2004, 100min – World Premiere

YOU ARE ALONE: A dark exploration of just how far a man and a woman will go to escape loneliness, if only for an hour. Director Gorman Bechard, United States, 2003, 84min – World Premiere

FLIP A COIN: Two East London flat mates who toss a coin to make decisions find themselves embroiled with a woman who changes the course of their lives. Director David Flamholc, England, 2005, 97 min – US Premiere
