The Resfest 2000 Digital Film Festival gets all warmed up in San Francisco this year, and will play from September 7th to the 9th at the Palace of Fine Arts. It will then take its show on the road for stints in Seattle, London, Montreal, Chicago, New York, Los Angeles, Korea and Japan.
The 4th annual Fest focuses on digital film, and includes screenings of shorts and features, music videos and Internet animation, panels and technology exhibits. Not-to-be-missed are the world premiere of Gary Winick’s DV feature “Sam the Man” starring Annabella Sciorra, Fisher Stevens, and Luis Guzman, animation in the form of DJ Qbert’s “Wave Twisters,” and lots of Net Cinema world premieres.
