EDMONDS FILM FEST WINNERS
The inaugural Edmonds International Film Festival took over lovely Edmonds, WA. from August 24th to the 27th and hosted a competition for both films and screenplays, with Film Threat’s very own Chris Gore conducting the final judging for the selected films. [ Grand Prize ] ^ “Being Claudine” by I-fan Quirk, starring Justine Litchman. ^ A romantic comedy about a young actress looking for both personal and professional success.
[ First Prize ] ^ “The Frankenstein Children” by Jim Zachar. ^ When “Sally” awakens on an operating table with no memory of her identity or where she came from, she must find the answers on her own.
[ Second Prize ] ^ “Overnight Sensation” by Glen Trotiner.
[ Third Prize ] ^ “Underdogs” by Glen Friedel and “The Engagement Party” by William Azaroff. “The Engagement Party” also took home the People’s Choice Award.
