13TH ANNUAL SAN DIEGO LATINO FILM FESTIVAL LAUNCHES

Taking place March 9 – 19, 2006 at UltraStar’s Mission Valley at Hazard Center, the San Diego Latino Film Festival will feature more than 100 film screenings celebrating the best in Latino cinema from around the world. Additional activities include Sonido Latino concerts, Arte Latino art exhibitions, festive galas and educational workshops. Film highlights include the Border Visions, Cine Gay and Youth Visions Spotlights, tributes to filmmaker Bruno Barreto, actress Maria Conchita Alonso, and the late comedic genius “Tin Tan.”
