TRIBECA PREMIERES “POSEIDON”
The Tribeca Film Festival has tapped the action adventure Poseidon, directed by Wolfgang Petersen, acclaimed director of Troy and The Perfect Storm, to have its world premiere at the 2006 Tribeca Film Festival.
“Poseidon is one of those great summer action films that you can’t wait to see and we are pleased to be able to host its world premiere at the Tribeca Film Festival,” said Jane Rosenthal, co-founder of the Festival. “Warner Bros. has supported the Festival with a film premiere each year since our founding, and this year they bring us Wolfgang Petersen and his talented cast.”
