TELLURIDE INDIEFEST BY THE NUMBERS
The Telluride IndieFest, which will begin on [ December 7th ] and finish up on [ December 10th, 2000, ] has seen a steady rise in the number of film entrants over the last year — over 1,000 submissions made it into their hands before the extended September 1st deadline. Here’s more, by the numbers, from the Telluride IndieFest:
Number of entries returned, unopened, because they made it in past the September 1st deadline: 289! (Yes, festivals take the deadline seriously.) ^ Total number on entries received: 1,027 ^ Percentage of submissions from males: 67% (687) ^ Percentage of submissions from females: 33% (340) ^ Most popular film genre: drama ^ Number of horror film submitted: 0 ^ State with most submissions: California (356)
