NEW YORK FILM AND VIDEO FESTIVAL
From [ December 1st ] through [ December 10th, 2000 ] the New York-leg of the bicoastal New York International Independent Film and Video Festival heads to the Big Apple to screen both world premieres and the big winners from the Los Angeles event.
Festival debuts include the highly-anticipated world premiere of “After the Storm,” Guy Ferland’s insightful story about loss of innocence and greed starring Benjamin Bratt and Armand Assante. Also making its first Festival appearance is “Moment in Time” — the directorial effort of Robert Orlando which stars Neil Maffin and Annika Peterson.
Los Angeles favorites that will screen include David Diaz’ stylish pulp feature “The Killing Zone” and “Breathing Under Water,” which stars newcomer Alexandre Pinto who captured the Los Angeles event award for Best Actor.
