LAPDANCE DOMINATES PARK CITY
Fact: Lapdance has been the best-attended event in Park City for two big, fat years. Yes, even more popular than those Sundance shin-digs. This year’s Lapdance, which begins on [ January 24th ] before tucking itself in, nice n’ tidy, the next day on [ January 25th, 2001 ] will most likely mark the third year straight that the “naughty stepchild” of the Park City fest family will again rule the scene.
Lapdance likes to focus on the realm of digital media, and 2001 events will include the Electronic Igloo Media Conference — a daytime event with digerati panels and more — as well as live entertainment and an Avant Garde Tribute. And did we mention that the Electronic Igloo will, in fact, be held in a heated igloo? The mind boggles at the warm and wired splendor of it all.
