HOLLYWOOD BLACK FILM FEST FEATURE LINE-UP

The Hollywood Black Film Festival, which will celebrate its third-annual run from [ January 31st ] to [ February 4th, 2001 ] in Culver City, has announced the feature films that will screen in the Competitive Film program:
ALL OR NOTHING ^ World Premiere ^ Jeffrey L. Davis (co-writer), Adisa Clyde Jones (director) ^ A young rapper is challenged by his world of music, family responsibilities and his dream of escaping the hood.
AMOUR INFINITY ^ Jerry Lamothe (writer/director) ^ Derek, a well-meaning young man, is trying to overcome a string of dilemmas in his life, including single fatherhood, unemployment and his girlfriend’s abandonment. Derek’s fate takes an unexpected turn when he encounters, Amour, an old friend from school.
LOVE THE WAY ^ World Premiere ^ Christine Swanson (writer/director), Michael Swanson (producer) ^ Two people run from the pain of their broken past. When they discover each other, they find themselves at a crossroad where the only thing that stands between them and a second chance is each other.
METAL ^ Christopher E. Brown (writer/director), Adryenn Ashley (producer) ^ Surrounded by poverty, drug abuse and moral corrosion, Ray, a recently unemployed auto mechanic struggles to maintain his sense of dignity and family when everyone around him has either given in or given up.
NIKITA BLUES ^ Los Angeles Premiere ^ Marc Cayce (director) ^ Nikita wants to give her English teacher more than just a red apple.
