SOUTH BY “SOUTHEAST” FILM FESTIVAL
Is this thing for real? The South By South “East” Film Festival takes place March 9-10, 2001 in Austin, TX at 615 E. Red River Street and kicks off at 9 p.m. The SXSE is an obvious parody of the SXSW Film Festival and is boasting that Garry Marshall will be a special guest showing the director’s cut of the mentally-challenged romantic comedy “The Other Sister.” Now that we’d like to see! If you want to find out if this is for real, get in touch with them at: South By SouthEast Film Festival, PO Box 4966, Austin, TX 78751. Call them at: 512-478-4795. Film Threat will be in Austin and we plan to check this thing out for ourselves. ^ Go to the Official SXSE web site for details.
