THE “SUPER FAN”-TOM MENACE!
What happens when the world’s biggest sports fans run out of sporting events? Let’s just say no activity is safe from their prying eyes! Writer/Director Tom Brunelle and Producer Shawna Brakefield’s digital short film, “Super Fans” hits screens Sunday, March 12th and Saturday, March 18th during the SXSW Film Festival in Austin, TX, where is has already been selected as a finalist in the narrative shorts competition.
Telling the tale four dedicated fans who must vent their severe addiction to cheering and heckling in new places after running out of sporting events, the film features a cast that includes Michael Haywood Norris (“Mad TV”), Bob Stephenson (“Fight Club,” “Con Air,” “Seven”), Lisa K. Wyatt (“Clueless,” “ER”), Bob Sherer (“Mad TV,” “Def Comedy Jam”) and Tait Ruppert (“Arliss,” “Veronica’s Closet,” “General’s Daughter”).
