NEWPORT BEACH FILM FEST WRAPS UP
This Thursday, April 18th, 2002, the Newport Beach Film Festival wraps up a week of features, shorts and seminars with a special screening of the Italian film Eugenio, I Love You (Ti Voglio Bene, Eugenio). The feature leads into a closing reception and the Festival’s Awards Night on Friday, April 19th.
Eugenio, I Love You is the true story of a reclusive man who reaches out to a coma victim when nobody else can break through. The film took home Best Actor honors at the David di Donatello Awards for star Giancarlo Giannini and the Audience Favorite award at the Palm Springs International Film Festival.
Tickets for the screening and the Awards Night gala can be purchased at the Newport Beach Film Festival site, where you can also find a schedule of events and the list of award winners once released.
