Kevin Pollak (“The Usual Suspects,” “Avalon”), a star of this summer’s tearjerker “Juwanna Mann,” is hosting the 2nd annual SKYY Vodka Short Film Awards as part of the Los Angeles Film Festival (LAFF), which runs from June 20th through June 29th, 2002. The event will take place on June 27, 2002, at the Pacific Design Center in West Hollywood.
SKYY Vodka will award a prize of $5,000 to the winner of each category, a full-page advertisement in Daily Variety celebrating the award-winning shorts, an airing of the winning shorts on the Sundance Channel and the chance for each filmmaker to meet with an agent or manager.
