MUFF ECHOS
“Echos Of Enlightenment,” the winner of the Ajijic Film Festival in 2001 has been selected for the official competition of the 3rd Annual Melbourne Underground Film Festival (a/k/a “MUFF”) on July 18th at the George Cinemas.
Described as a bold and adventurous independent feature, “Echos of Enlightenment” is a magical realism drama about a wife’s search for her missing husband, Daniel, who is pushed beyond the brink by bottom feeding clients and greedy creditors. Two months later, fed up with the police, the press, the FBI, Mary, his wife, retraces his every step and meets all the people Daniel touched before his disappearance and makes a startling discovery!
“Echos of Enlightenment” is written and directed by Daniel J. Coplan and stars Christine Hart (“Port Charles”, “The Bold and the Beautiful”), Shannah Laumeister (“Bullets Over Broadway”, “NYPD Blue”), Gordon Noice (“NYPD Blue”), Jesse Goins (“Soldier”, “Robocop”) and Luis Saguar (“Nash Bridges”, “8MM”).
The 3rd Annual Melbourne Underground Film Festival will run from July 11-21.
