INDIEVISION FILMFEST ’02 is getting ready to take over the Tribeca Film Center in New York on September 17th – 22nd. This is a festival focusing on American independent films and filmmakers only, inviting U.S. distributors, audiences, and foreign, industry-related companies to come and view American films in a specialized forum.
RJ Thomas’ “Learning to Surf” will open the festival on September 17th. Other films included in the schedule are 5 Card Stud, “Major Damage” and “Big Blue: The NYC Handball Documentary” with a special program dedicated to the best of DANCESWITHFILMS 2002 featuring “Sorority Sluts 3: Spring Break!” and “Dotcom: Hot Tubs, Pork Chops and Valium.”
