No Good Deed Goes Unpunished

At my theater (which is a major megaplex in it's region), we had an engagement for the new Bob Rafelson (Five Easy Pieces, Head, Black Widow) film No Good Deed Goes Unpunished starring Sam Jackson. Usually we are contractually obligated to carry a title for a minimum of two weeks. This film bounced off our screen in seven days, before I (or anyone else for that matter) had a chance to see it. I have always found Rafelson's films to be enjoyable, but I have no idea what the story is on this movie. It had no publicity (I'm not even sure if they sent us a poster) and I've not seen any reviews on it. Can someone enlighten me as to where this film came from and why it got ignored?
