i was watching tv tonight & for some reason started thinking about bernadette peters & this movie she did with christopher reeve about the sleeping beauty story. it's not listed in her IMDB filmography. it's not in his either.
does anyone remember watching it? i saw it on tape when i was in elementary school. my dad probably recorded it from tv.
The only thing I can think of even close is "Into the Woods"...which plays on several fairy tales. BUt I don't think Christopher Reeve was in it. Isn't Bernadette Peters the cutest, most doll like creature? :)
Oops....actually here is the answer you seek:
Chris and Bernadette (http://imdb.com/title/tt0199214/guests)

Yep, GiGi's got it. It's not in their respective filmographies, but rather towards the bottom, in the "Notable TV Guest Appearances" section. And if you don't feel like scrolling to find it in the guest appearances section of "Faerie Tale Theatre", just go down to "Sleeping Beauty", episode 2.3 (second season, third episode).

i like your Location. id prefer to be
Schittin on a block of decay
watching red brides slit my veins
that doesnt paint a very pretty picture.
I'm glad I could help :)
Since Rory is such a brainiac (and i mean that in the most respectful way) maybe he could help me find something similar out.
I watched a movie when I was a kid on ABC's the wonderful world of Disney. Remember when it came on Sunday nights about 6pm? Anyway, I have been dying to find a movie I saw but do not know the name nor does anyone know what i am talking about. It was a ghost story about a little girl who died in a well. I remember she had on a white dress and had some sort of heaband on, very dark hair. Anyway, this little boy and girl were trying to help this ghost. In the end, they ended up scaling down in this well...found the little girl's doll wedged in the rock...and the dolls head was filled with diamonds. I assume that is why she was killed. Afterwards, I think the little girl ghost could rest, and went to heaven.
My sis and I have talked about this movie for years, because it was so cool and haunting. But we can find nothing out on it. If Rory or anyone knows, that would be the coolest xmas present. PS: I cant remember if the little girl was Kim Richards or not. I must have been really young. :)

whoa.... whoa... how undisney-sounding. but then again, "The Black Cauldron" & "Sleeping Beauty" were considerably dark & sinister.
Does this help.....

Alright GiGi, I found it. I had no luck searching for Kim Richards on the Internet Movie Database, so I highlighted the "little girl ghost" part of your plot synopsis, pasted it into the IMDB search engine, with an emphasis on "plots". Here it is:
Child of Glass (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0077325/maindetails) (1978) (TV)
Click on the VHS link for amazon.com and one of the sets of comments about the film confirms that this is indeed what you were looking for, along with bits and pieces about "Child of Glass" in the user comments section on the IMDB page. Merry Christmas.
**Kiss kiss kiss**
This sounds suspicioulsy like it. You HAVE to see this...it is indeed dark and sinister from what I remembered. I hope I can find a copy.
THank you!
