Yeah, uh, I don't know if this is the right section to post in, but I was wondering if anybody had any preferences or feedback on using withoutabox.com? The articles I read on this site were all posted about a year ago and said that the service might become a great solution to submitting to festivals. So I was wondering, has it become a great solution? Is it worth the 79 dollar investment? Is an online entry "looked down upon" when compared to a mailing?

Withoutabox is excellent. Most importantly, it saves me about thirty minutes per festival entry. Additional benefits include five dollar discounts to many festival entry fees and frequent deadline extensions available only to withoutabox members. Definitely worth it if you're planning on applying to more than a couple of festivals.

I mean, that sounds very positive, and you're sure those submissions are counted on the same level as mail in submissions? Also, I assume you mail the screener in, correct?
