I'm a Canadian, so my vote would literally not count, but studying American politics is a hobby of mine. But I do have a suggestion.

For your Democratic nominee you should have probably put down the name of Howard Dean. He's raising all the money, gets all the media attention, and that's pretty incredible for the Governor of a relatively tiny state. It's almost as if the Powers That Be in the DNC has crowned him already and the primaries and convention are just a formality. It reminds me of the rise of Clinton in the 92 election, without the constant sex talk in the news that would make Redd Foxx blush.

Then again, I might just be paranoid.

Among the Democrats I actually like Lieberman best. He's pissed off and he's not affraid to show it. But if National Security Advisor Condeleeza Rice was running for the Republicans, she'd have my vote. Something about a tough, powerful, intelligent, and utterly ruthless woman like her gets me warm in the secret spots. ;)

But who do I think would be the perfect candidate no matter what party?:

PARIS HILTON for PREZ!

Sure, she'd be a lousy president, but she'd certainly liven up the White House website.;)

Let's face it folks... The guy needs to be tried for Treason, not re-elected.

RESUME George W. Bush The White House, USA

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: LAW ENFORCEMENT: I was arrested in Kennebunkport, Maine, in 1976 for driving under the influence of alcohol. I pled guilty, paid a fine, and had my driver's license suspended for 30 days. My Texas driving record has been "lost" and is not available. MILITARY: I joined the Texas Air National Guard and went AWOL. I refused to take a drug test or answer any questions about my drug use. By joining the Texas Air National Guard, I was able to avoid combat duty in Vietnam.

COLLEGE: I graduated from Yale University with a low C average. I was a cheerleader.

PAST WORK EXPERIENCE: I ran for U.S. Congress and lost. I began my career in the oil business in Midland, Texas, in 1975. I bought an oil company, but couldn't find any oil in Texas. The company went bankrupt shortly after I sold all my stock. I bought the Texas Rangers baseball team in a sweetheart deal that took land using taxpayer money. With the help of my father and our right-wing friends in the oil industry (including Enron CEO Ken Lay), I was elected governor of Texas.

ACCOMPLISHMENTS AS GOVERNOR OF TEXAS: I changed Texas pollution laws to favor power and oil companies, making Texas the most polluted state in the Union. During my tenure, Houston replaced Los Angeles as the most smog-ridden city in America. I cut taxes and bankrupted the Texas treasury to the tune of billions in borrowed money. I set the record for the most executions by any governor in American history. With the help of my brother, the governor of Florida, and my father's appointments to the Supreme Court, I became President after losing by over 500,000 votes.

ACCOMPLISHMENTS AS PRESIDENT: I am the first President in U.S. history to enter office with a criminal record. I invaded and occupied two countries at a continuing cost of over one billion dollars per week and effectively bankrupted the U.S. Treasury. I shattered the record for the largest annual deficit in U.S. history. I set an economic record for most private bankruptcies filed in any 12-month period. I set the all-time record for most foreclosures in a 12-month period. I set the all-time record for the biggest drop in the history of the U.S. stock market. In my first year in office, over 2 million Americans lost their jobs and that trend continues every month. I'm proud that the members of my cabinet are the richest of any administration in U.S. history. My "poorest millionaire," Condoleeza Rice, has a Chevron oil tanker named after her. I set the record for most campaign fund-raising trips by a U.S. President. I am the all-time U.S. and world record-holder for receiving the most corporate campaign donations. My largest lifetime campaign contributor, and one of my best friends, Kenneth Lay, presided over the largest corporate bankruptcy fraud in U.S. History, Enron. My political party used Enron private jets and corporate attorneys to assure my success with the U.S. Supreme Court during my election decision. I have protected my friends at Enron and Halliburton against investigation or prosecution. More time and money was spent investigating the Monica Lewinsky affair than has been spent investigating one of the biggest corporate rip-offs in history. I presided over the biggest energy crisis in U.S. history and refused to intervene when corruption involving the oil industry was revealed. I presided over the highest gasoline prices in U.S. history. I changed the U.S. policy to allow convicted criminals to be awarded government contracts. I appointed more convicted criminals to administration than any President in U.S. history. I created the Ministry of Homeland Security, the largest bureaucracy in the history of the United States government, after the Internal Revenue Service. I've broken more international treaties than any President in U.S. history. I am the first President in U.S. history to have the United Nations remove the U.S. from the Human Rights Commission. I withdrew the U.S. from the World Court of Law. I refused to allow inspectors access to U.S. "prisoners of war" detainees and thereby have refused to abide by the Geneva Convention. I am the first President in history to refuse United Nations election inspectors (during the 2002 U.S. election). I set the record for fewest number of press conferences of any President since the advent of television. I set the all-time record for most days on vacation in any one-year period. After taking off the entire month of August, I presided over the worst security failure in U.S. history. I garnered the most sympathy for the U.S. after the World Trade Center attacks and less than a year later made the U.S. the most hated country in the world, the largest failure of diplomacy in world history. I have set the all-time record for most people worldwide to simultaneously protest me in public venues (15 million people), shattering the record for protest against any person in the history of mankind. I am the first President in U.S. history to order an unprovoked, pre-emptive attack and the military occupation of a sovereign nation. I did so against the will of the United Nations, the majority of U.S. citizens, and the world community. I have cut health care benefits for war veterans and support a cut in duty benefits for active duty troops and their families -- in war time. In my State of the Union Address, I lied about our reasons for attacking Iraq, then blamed the lies on our British friends. I am the first President in history to have a majority of Europeans (71%) view my presidency as the biggest threat to world peace and security. I am supporting development of a nuclear "Tactical Bunker Buster," a WMD. I have so far failed to fulfill my pledge to bring Osama Bin Laden and Saddam Hussein to justice.

RECORDS AND REFERENCES: All records of my tenure as govern or of Texas are now in my father's library, sealed and unavailable for public view. All records of SEC investigations into my insider trading and my bankrupt companies are sealed in secrecy and unavailable for public view. All records or minutes from meetings that I, or my Vice-President, attended regarding public energy policy are sealed in secrecy and unavailable for public review.

PLEASE CONSIDER MY EXPERIENCE WHEN VOTING IN 2004. ===== Ignore your rights and they'll go away.

You should quit regurgitating lame spam. If you have anything substantive to say about the President or anyone else then be out with it, but if you are going to senselessly flame then you risk sounding more ridiculous and irrelevant than you actually are. I would welcome a Dean nomination and I do believe that it will be an interesting race to the finish. The general sense that I get is that our nation is taking on a slightly conservative tilt, as it has gotten fed up with the secular, intellectually condescending elitism that plagues the northeastern and pacific liberal establishments. I do not believe that it is an accident that since the President was elected the majority in the House has been expanded, and a GOP majority in the Senate has been achieved. It is no coincidence that the four largest states in our union (California, Texas, New York and Florida) are all run by GOP governors. Most of the state legislatures in this country are now conservatively run and with 7 Southern Senate seats up for grabs this November, the GOP could potentially approach a super majority in the Senate, which may very well open the flood gates for a cascade of conservative judicial nominations. None of this could be possible without the bully pulpit that this President has so skillfully wielded. The left can put up Dean, Kerry, Clark, Gephardt or whoever they want, but it appears to me that the candidate will be a sacrificial lamb to the Bush campaign machine.

I'm the first one to admit the failings of liberals. The exagerations, the snobbery, the intellectual arrogance, ect...

However, the conservatives are just as bad. Paul O'Neil just mentionned that Bush & Co were already gunning for Iraq from the get go of the administration. Which they were if you listen to some speeches done pre-9/11 where they were trying to make Saddam look like a nasty rash that they hadn't scratched in a while. This brings into question the whole point of the Iraq war. It's supposed to be a war against terrorism, not some personal 80+ billon dollar vendetta.

I've seen Conservatives trash Hollywood. Saying that producers have a responsibility to their audience. That Hollywood shouldn't be allowed to market such stupid filth to people. Then they turn around and defend big businesses that sell crappy and dangerous products made in sweatshops by saying "If you don't like it, don't buy it!"

Politics IN GENERAL is an arrogant, stupid, pointless, elitist game where everyone pretends to be something they're not to get elected. End of story.

Democrats pretend to be liberal to tap into the great mass of non-voters 18-35. Millions of opinionated people who are quite vocal and liberal. Yet "Could vote at any second" as they say in the meetings!

Republicans pretend to be conservative to appeal to the older, more reliable voters. However, they run the risk of running out of votes at any time due to the age of their supporters.

So it's all a game in the end.

In Canada it's even funnier. In our world of politics Conservative and Liberal have lost all meaning. It's just a tag people use to identify themselves. No more deep than a goth "uniform" in high school.

Looks like Kerry's a shoo in for the Democratic nod, leaving Dean, and others in the dust.

Here's a little bit of trivia about the Demo front runner and his soon-to-be rival George W. Bush.

Both went to Yale, and both were members of the highly secretive society called SKULL & BONES.

Although there have been several S&B Presidents in the past, there has never been a case where 2 Bonesmen ran against each other.

Hmmmm.... coincidence... or CONSPIRACY!!! ;)

At least you guys have a choice. I live in Utah, a state that has given ALL of its electoral votes to Republican presidential candidates since the beginning of time.

Not that I am a big fan of democrats either. Politics has turned into one liners, sound bites, and bitter attacks against opponents. I'm voting for Bugs Bunny.

If you are interested in the quagmire of lies and misrepresentations politics has become, you should take a trip to www.spinsanity.org. They expose hyperbole on both sides.
