I could write/repeat 40 pages of things I've written and linked to
concerning the middle east, the definition of poverty, and stem-cell korean egg farming...
but I guess this is a Film forum, right?

So... specific to what we'd want the FCC to do (which seems more relevant to film threat),
how are you guys finding the powers-that-want-to-be?

Reagan's deregulated FCC overturned Hot Wheels.
Clinton's opportunist FCC fined the crap out of Stern.

What would Dubya's FCC do beyond canceling the close caption
funding for the Ninja Turtles cartoon?

Does Kerry even care?

I think consumer-reports Nader would abuse the FCC to make
pseudo-infomercials peppered with ads for insurance and other fear-based services.

Kerry and Dubya are Yalies and Skulls.
Nader wrote content to sell ads.

I think John Edwards would bring worse than Tipper Gore's PMRC*
in terms of labeling video games...

Okay, so just about the FCC - what do you guys think
about the potential for different presidents to mess with it?

*Yeah, I know Jello Biafra endorses Nader but I think Jello
is full of crap in this regard.
