My sentiments exactly.

In this business, making a pie with nothing but sugar for your ingredients sure won't amount to much.

Maybe, just maybe... If all of the necassary ingredients are in place, you may come out on top with a well baked pie.

I know, that analogy sucked.

Long and the short of it is... You're cutting yourself short.

Mingle with everyone and someone might stick.

Cliques are out.

Can't we all just get along.

Actually this group Asian Filmmaking was created for Asians to help each other advance in the film business. I mean, I still do work with all kinds of people, but I figure that there should be a forum like this for Asian filmmakers to support each other since it is obvious that there are still few Asians in Hollywood.

Also this group came about when I tried to do my short and got some people interested in working with me through networking on the internet, but when they finally met me in person, 90% of them dropped out. I guess they never thought that they would be working with an Asian.
