Hey, folks! At the recommendation of The Dude, I explored my "user control panel" (see the yellow link above marked "user cp"). There's a cool little thing in there marked "Ignore." If you click on "Ignore," you can enter the user name of whoever's posts you don't want to be annoyed by.

Cool, huh?

For instance, if you think I suck, you can opt to not read my posts.

...And that's exactly what I did with the user name of a certain uberconservative propagandist/spammer/flame troll, who contributes nothing of any value or interest to this forum.

Come on! Join in! Then we can get back to the very reason why we're here... To discuss movies and filmmaking, have fun, and heckle each other in a good-natured manner!

Unfortunately, I think most of the women in my life have put me on their ignore list. So, I guess it works in life like on the FT board.

And I learned I was in "Stealth" mode...so you can even be invisible yourself! So many trinkets, bells, and whistles...you gotta love it!

I suggest we engage in some terrible act of flaming vengeance. Because we clog up this board bad enough with our own crap and we don't need some wanker strolling on in with only one braincell and the intention of being a dick roaming around.;)

We could.

But I prefer crushing such worms beneath my mighty boot. There are people who you might act like total knuckleheads, but at least they have something to say. Moomoocow is acting like a total knucklehead that has absolutely nothing to say. Now that's sad.

The next step is to ban moomoocow's IP and/or email addy.
That's how you deal with trolls and crush them underfoot, ban their IP then delete them from the board. Easy as one, two, gone.

I didn't do it for the "glory", I just REALLY like these forums and FILM THREAT in general. I've got print issues of FT from the 80's and 90's, so I've been pretty much in sync with the concept for 3 decades now. SO fuckabunch of cats like moomoocow and his ilk who just wanna be antisocial (although there is certainly can be value in anti-socialism). Nuff said...let's talk about MOVIES!!!!!
