Well, two criminals confessed their sins after seeing Mel Gibson's The Passion. And in a bit of irony one claims that the film cured him of his anti-semitism.

In Texas a man confessed to killing his girlfriend and making it look like a suicide.

In Oslo, Norway, a Neo-Nazi saw The Passion and rejected his Nazi beliefs and confessed to a series of unsolved bombings in the early 90's.

What do you think about this?

I think Hollywood's propaganda machine is in full swing.

I think Hollywood's propaganda machine is in full swing.

If only it were that easy, but the film is independent. Hollywood can only sit back and watch.

I think these chuckleheads would've confessed their crimes had they seen an image of the virgin Mary or Chewbaca in their flapjacks. These are just the kind of non-news stories that our extra shallow "news" providers love to capitalize on.
But what the hell, if a couple of lowlifes end up doing time for past crimes then so be it. That's two less scumbags wandering the streets.

Yikes! I'm just waiting for the lady from the trailer park in Alabama to claim that stigmata wounds miraculously appeared after she saw the film!

I think the real "crime" is how much freakin' $ this film is making!

Tonight on "South Park", Kyle goes to see "The Passion".

Looks hilarious, folks.

:)
they were misguided to begin with, so no surprise that they'd be so influenced by a movie.

;)
it might even shed some light into their original motivations, lots of boo hoo hooing in their lives or something, i dunno, sound like a coupla saps to me lol

Well, if it's true that kids are influenced by and will imitate what they see in movies, I will make sure (if I ever have children) that they see The Passion of the Christ at least a few times! Then, I'll make sure that their school teaches a wood shop class...

No, Blame Canada! Blame Canada!
With all their beaty little eyes, their flapping heads so full of lies!
Blame Canada! Blame Canada!

They're not a real country ANYWAAAAAAAAY!!!

With all respect to Furious D and The Dude, however, Canada is very much a real, thriving sex romp of a country.

DAMN STRAIGHT!

And as spokesman for Canada, I'd like to thank the people of the USA for taking Celine Dion off our hands. ;) :p

There's a lot of cheep shots agaisnt this flick. If it does some good... leave it be. What harm is it to you if you won't ever see it?

It's pretty hard to take someone seriously when he/she can't spell "cheap."

It's not harmful to me. 0ther than giving Jesus Freaks more crap to talk about. And perpetuating ignorance about the past and confusing the lines between 'myth' and 'reality.'

I'm not going to open that doar though.

Oh, excuse me for misspelling Cheep… It’s pretty lame that so many people have to trash this film that might actually be doing some good for some people: “Jesus Freaks” or not.

There’s so much trash out there that “Film-Freaks” gush over, then an new Film about Christ comes out it’s the end of the world.

I’ll pass along a bit of advice folk’s give me when a flick is released that offends me: Don’t watch it and don’t whine about it. Don’t like it? Shut it off or don’t go out to see it.
