Just got back from the Festival Of Fantsatic Films in Manchester(UK) and I just want to mention that it was the worst festival that I've ever attended.
It was shit.
I met David Hess though! So that kind of made up for the overall shitness of the rest of the event!

Care to elaborate on what made it terrible?

Here goes...
For a start there was pretty much nobody there, I counted 25 people in any one room at a time. The dealers 'Film Fair' had two stalls. David Hess had a table selling stills/autographs etc and nobody even seemed to realise he was there.
The 35mm film programme consisted of 'Supernova', 'Space Cowboys' and 'When Worlds Collide' all the other movies were digitally projected dvd's of trash such as 'Rocketship XM' and 'Frankenstein Island'.
Honestly! IT WAS A WASTE OF MONEY!!!
That's why it was TERRIBLE!

Damn. "Supernova"? I know it's a sci-fi fest and all but why not just add on the remake of "Rollerball". And how about "Grind" to go along with it? Man, that does sound like a shitty festival.
