The Tragic Death of Mr. Meteor

My old classic car has finally bit the big one. It is dead. The engine blew and it's gone. It was a 1975 Mercury Meteor. They made only 1500 of them and mine was the last. There was one, now there is none.

Goodbye Mr. Meteor

1975 Mercury Meteor

I will hold a funeral for this fucking thing I sank enough of my blood and money into it.

Wow. That Meteor has a lot of personality. Another good one gone down.

You have my condolences on the passing of your Meteor.

Like its namesake it was destined to burn out in the atmosphere.

Sorry to hear it, man. I remember the day my '75 Buick LeSabre Custom (1st car I ever owned) dropped its transmission in Austin. There's just something about a car with a back seat you can (almost) stretch out full length in.
