Final Thoughts on MJ Memorial

http://new.music.yahoo.com/blogs/mojo/11480/michael-jackson-tributehuh/#postcomment"

This article perfectly articulates what I think about the MJ memorial. What I will reiterate here though, is how no one seemed to mention how it was Joe Jackson who in all likelyhood cast the first stone toward his youngest son's early demise. The way everyone tacitly validated the way he laid the youth of his own child by praising him alongside Catherine was insipid to me. Al Sharpon's speech almost made me sick. I wish it was him who was beaten sensless in his youth so we would not have to put up with his revolting MLK posing.

MJ died as he lived, as a canvass and marketing tool for his Daddy, AEG (who lost an assload when MJ died before his O2 tour), his falsly solid seeming family (they don't live near each other and rarely communicate; Catherine is the only family member mentioned in the will and that's to inherit the kids), and the Media (who managed to forget that N. Korea was Testing Nuclear Weapons because Michael Jackson had died).

They got one thing right though. Maybe now that MJ is dead everyone will leave him alone.

Of course, when I say "everyone" I don't just mean the media-and they certainly have their share-mean his disgusting father, Black media outlets who validate him, Al Sharpton, AEG, and the lawyers who will be hashing and slashing MJ's estate for the next trillion years.

Or in other words everyone.

I agree with Gandalf. The tribute was a frakin' joke.
Why deify a man who had some talent, but was more famous for his freakish appearance, pedophile tendencies & drug addiction?! I heard that he told Lisa Marie Presley (who he was married to for about 5 minutes) that his biggest fear was ending up like Elvis... Well Michael, Mission Accomplished!
