Severe Injuries Pittsburgh Premiere

Severe Injuries, the latest film from Happy Cloud Pictures, is making its
Pittsburgh Premiere at the Melwood Screening Room in Oakland on January 31,
2004 at 2 PM. Admission is free to the public, so tell your friends!

Severe Injuries tells the story of Melvin Hubble, last in a long line of
inept serial killers, who hopes to live up to his father's dying wish - to
make something of himself as a psycho - by sneaking into the Rho Rho Rho
sorority house. Little does Melvin know, however, that there is another
killer lurking in the house - one that lacks the courage of Melvin's
convictions.

An homage to '80s slasher movies, Severe Injuries was directed by Amy Lynn
Best and was written by Mike Watt. It features a cast of some of the
best-known actors in independent film, including Best, Robyn Griggs (NBC's
Another World), Charlie Fleming ("The Resurrection Game"), Lilith Stabs
("Bad Movie Police"), Jasi Cotton Lanier ("Were-Grrl"), Francis Veltri ("The
Resurrection Game"), Debbie Rochon ("American Nightmare"), Lloyd Kaufman
("The Toxic Avenger"), Ryli Morgan ("Expendable"), Jenna Bull-Trombold (Pittsburgh Musical Theater), Stacy Bartlebaugh-Gmys ("Were-Grrl"), Bill Homan and Bill Watt
("The Resurrection Game")

Hey, Amy...

As a Pittsburgh native (relocated to L. A. 24 years ago,) I wish you all the best with your screening.

From past experience, working with Romero, Russo, and others, I know that Pittsburgh is actually a great place for filmmaking.

You go, girl!
