The recent blast of hot air blowing in from Tinseltown has been too much to bear, as it always is this time of year. Yes, it’s butt-kissing season once again, and that means outlets like Entertainment Weekly and Premiere have puckered up and released their annual power lists. This drooling adoration for Hollywood's elite is shameless, the lists themselves so pointless and uninspired that they have the potential to turn even readers who are just skimming through them to stone – that is, if anyone reads them at all. So, in order to help stifle all of that blistering hot air, we present to you our annual FRIGID 50, a top 50 list of the coldest, least powerful people in Hollywood. In the past, The Frigid 50 has called out show business dignitaries such as Michael Moore, Jack Valenti, Russell Crowe, Freddie Prinze, Jr. and Robin Williams for their questionable status, if not complete uselessness, as power players. Yes, it’s just another meaningless list, but we like to think that this one echoes the true thoughts and feelings of real people, rather than the opinion of some editor on high with a passion for brown nosing. This is what everyone really thinks about these same people, many of whom show up every year on these so-called “power lists.”
