Wow. Yet another Hollywood Bush Bash! Amazing. The man isn't even IN Hollywood, just the subject of endless Hollywood jabs, jibes and nasty smear campaigns, yet he's number one on your list. Wow. What are folks like you going to do, who are you going to blame for everything when he's out of office?
It never ceases to amaze me how you people who consider Bush to be the dumbest man alive give him credit for some of the most clever, dastardly schemes in history.
Wow. Thanks for showing us just how biased Hollywood and its pundits really are. Like we didn't know before. |

I agree with all of your assessments except of Angelina Jolie. I'm not convinced her humanitarianism is contrived for publicity. Replace her with Katie Holmes - whose marriage and progeny with Tom Cruise could ONLY be a desperate bid to generate publicity - and you'll be spot on. |

"Despotic tyrant" is redundant. A despot and a tyrant are the same thing, but you knew that right? Furthermore, a tyrant has absolute power whereas our government is divided into three branches, forming a separation of powers known as "checks and balances", making tyranny impossible, but you knew that right? You should feel fortunate that you have a free license to publish. You are a true example of what makes this a free country. God bless the free market system! |

If Macdaddy18 wants to read something, he should consider this quote from a president who was considerably more intelligent than the current model: ""Shake off all the fears and servile prejudices under which weak minds are servilely crouched. Fix reason firmly in her seat, and call to her tribunal every fact, every opinion. Question with boldness even the existence of a God; because, if there be one, he must more approve of the homage of reason, than that of blindfolded fear." -- Thomas Jefferson |

A lot of this list is right on and funny. It's also a lot like kicking a miserably failing person when he/she is down. Which I like. But a suggestion, Film Threat, if I may?
Just because a movie makes a lot of money doesn't mean it's good. See "Knocked Up" and "Superbad." As you so brilliantly pointed out, "Norbit" was a huge success at the box office too, but Eddie Murphy's career is "frigid" and Judd Apatow's isn't? Before you make any more lists, why don't you double-check to make sure it's consistent with your own capricious and arbitrary criterion. |

Then maybe you can write for the new American version of Pravda while you're waiting eight months to get a chest X-Ray! At least then you'd have real jobs. Just a hunch, but I'm guessing most of you Bush bashers out there are the same ones who were outraged that nothing was done to stop 9/11. Can't have your cake and eat it too - LOSERS! Almost forgot something, Phil Hall. I'm sure you already know this, but just thought I'd point out that your friend Thomas Jefferson was actually the first US President to wage war against the Jihad movement. The Barbary Wars (1801 - 1805) were fought quite successfully and completely on foreign soil. Also, I'm quite sure that Jefferson and the other founding fathers never imagined a world in which terrorists would hijack commercial jets full of innocent people and use them to bring down 1,000+ foot skyscrapers full of more innocent people. Let's just hope they don't get their hands on a nuclear device next time. And be assured, if we don't continue to do the things we are doing, even if they are not the perfect solution, there will be a next time. In closing, I'd like you to ponder this. If George Bush is such a moron, why is he sleeping in the White House tonight, while you're living in mom's basement and toiling away for some third rate website that apparently only myself and your staff writers visit! |

George W. is in the White House because his daddy had the money and the clout to corrupt the American electoral process beyond the depths to which it had already fallen.
As for Hillary, well, I don't much care for her either. At the same time, I would vote for a steaming pile of dog shit before I would vote for anyone named Bush.
On the other hand, this is all about entertainment. The truth is, Dubya has fuelled the materials of comedians for almost eight years. That alone counts for something.
The one guy who may still have a career as a voice artist after the '08 elections: Donnie Rumsfeld. (That is, assuming Aflac is still using their duck campaign.)
Oh, and "Mac," I still believe the Bush regime was responsible, in collusion with Al Qaida, for 9/11. So please spare me the hate-mongering. We get enough of that from the White House.
Gods, I'm goin' to Gitmo for this, I know it. |

Okay, Felix - So calling the sitting President of the United States of America a despotic tyrant and a moron isn't insulting (not to mention disrespectful of the Office) and an attempt to convince people of your views? You morons can believe whatever you want, and I will continue to believe that you are morons. We both have that right in this great country of ours. However, I'd just like to point out that there's a big difference between poking fun at someone, as many comedians do with the President, and flat out hating, as you fine folks, and many others like you, seem to. All I can say is, I'd like to see you try to do his job for just one day. As for "The Baron", how is accusing our own government of conspiring with a terrorist organization to murder thousands of our own innocent civilians not hate-mongering? Get a clue you whack-job (and I use "whack-job" affectionately - I don't hate anyone except the terrorists. However, you really should get help, but you probably don't trust Western medicine either.). Back to you Felix. First of all, I'm really proud of you for having left the nest, and I stand corrected about the status of filmthreat.com in the internet community - "The Baron" makes a grand total of 3 visitors who have posted comments to your site (which I stumbled upon accidentally, between mining Wikipedia for historical warfare trivia and surfing for stock insults on right-wing blogs) in the last 24 hours. I've been spending too much time on these comments, and I probably do have better things to do - like color coding my sock drawer or trying to figure out what that smell wafting from the refrigerator is. As far as this being a movie review site, all I can say is that Blades of Glory was a riot, and I for one believe there is no such thing as too much Cedric the Entertainer (didn't you guys see that Bud Light commercial where the beer exploded all over his date - priceless!) Anyways, I decided to chime in to prove to macdaddy that this is a popular web site. ...for a moment I thought that maybe it was just that they only allowed 5 people to comment.
What Mac doesn't understand is that Bush did it. "9/11" I mean it's so obvious that our bommers took out building 7, the twin towers and the pentagon. If it was airplanes that flew into the towers than why didn't anyone see any airplanes actually fly into the towers? Also, where are the families of the supposed people that died on the supposed planes. It's also obvious that the video footage of the terrorists bording airplanes was just some poor tourists who didn't even know they were being fimed for this massive plot to frame them as terrorists.
Bush had create 9/11 so that we could take all of Iraq's oil. Even though we didn't go into Iraq because of 9/11. I'm happy we're stealing all of Iraq's oil and killing all of their women and children ... because if we weren't we'd be paying almost $3. per gallon for gas!
Oh wait, we are. |

How did this unfortunate situation manifest? A relatively innocuous list of Hollywood deadwood, becomes a cesspool of vitriolic invective. Perhaps adding a politician-and I believe he's the only politician on this list-is perhaps just another opportunity to swipe at him, because clearly the editors are not fans. But let's be fair, if we name Bush as the #1 frigid person in Hollywood, we should not forget to add Mrs. Clinton, the epitome, nay, the personification, of frigid.

Anyway, in response to Phil's last question, I believe that we are doing what we need to do in Iraq, but history will be the ultimate judge. Maybe I'm right and maybe you are, but in my opinion it's far too soon to tell. Many people today expect instant gratification in all aspects of life, and in this case it just doesn't work that way. Let's chat again in 200 years and see if the history books (if they still have books) are kinder to President Bush than you are! BTW, Angela Jolie is smoking hot, but why all the tattoos? but brangelina sure did succeed in buying a large section of the media and pompous UN buraucrats if not the respectability they so desperately crave..but how can they when jolie's sordid past stands in the way- the brother frenching, the blood accessorising, the frequently boasted of promiscuity and addiction to hard drugs, alcohol,S and M , not to mention her penchant for seducing men who are out of bounds and then cementing her superiority (or is it her insecurity )by remorselessly humiliating the wife.bravo jolie! for being the most famous celebrity in the world but truth to be told do not mistake tabloid frenzy for mass popularity..a lot of people are merely fascinated by the freakishly fake show you present..you need to get help..how about returning to the mental institution that you once mentioned you'd stayed at?
