BRUCE CAMPBELL: HAIL TO A B-MOVIE LEGEND
by Kevin Carr
Bruce Campbell has become a legend in B-movies, starting with the Evil Dead films in the 1980's and currently being featured as a cancerous, 68-year-old Elvis in Don Coscarelli’s Bubba Ho-Tep. But his career has encompassed much more than just horror films. He’s also cornered other genres, like westerns with his TV series “The Adventures of Brisco County, Jr.” and fantasy with his character, the King of Thieves in “Xena” and “Hercules.”

Bruce Campbell is also an author, with his first book, If Chins Could Kill: Confessions of a B-Movie Actor, currently on its paperback tour and available through his website.

Now, he does public speaking and lectures around the country – as many as three or four cities a week. While on his way to an appearance at the “A Nightmare at Studio 35” 24-Hour Horror Movie Marathon in Columbus, Ohio on October 19-20, he took some time to talk with us about his films, the Three Stooges and why his book is required reading for independent filmmakers as well as his fans.
