Kelley Baker, the Angry Filmmaker, is behind the camera again, so watch your ass.
The new film is “Kicking Bird” and it tells the story of Martin “Bird” Johnson, a 17-year-old “white trash” high school kid who runs. He runs to escape his rotten life and to avoid being beaten up. One day David Simpson, the sleazy, manipulative cross country coach sees Martin outrun his entire team (they want to beat him up), and thinks that Martin may be his ticket out of the low rent high school and into a college coaching job.
Right now, Baker is scraping together whatever pennies he can come across in order to complete this project, so if you run into him, go ahead and give him a few bucks.
