“GETTING OUT OF RHODE ISLAND” WINS TOP HONORS
The digital feature Getting Out of Rhode Island, produced, directed and edited by Christian de Rezendes, has received the honors of “Best Feature” and “Best Director” at the 2003 Black Point Film Festival this past weekend in Lake Geneva, Wisconsin.
“Getting Out of Rhode Island was like nothing else that had been submitted to us,” said Black Point Film Festival co-founder and director David Malsch. “Having the opportunity to showcase films like this is why we started our festival.”
Getting Out of Rhode Island is a Dogme-style drama about a movie fundraising party that goes seriously awry.
