“Saving Grace” is one of this summer’s most critically-acclaimed independent films…and yes, it has to do with both grandmas and pot. As it turns out, the story was inspired by a newspaper clipping from an actual British news piece. Co-writer and film star Craig Ferguson has an interview online at [ Yahoo! Movies ] that reveals his take on the “Grace” experience both in front of the lens and behind the scenes, and why he thinks the film deserved the Sundance Film Festival Audience Award. Added bonus: hear the interviewer try really, really hard to get Ferguson to dish about “research” involving the on-set pot plants.
