IT’S OFFICIAL – “BATMAN BEGINS”
After we’ve watched the pieces come together for Christopher Nolan’s take on Gotham City for the past few months, the production is finally under way in Iceland with Gary Oldman on board as Lieutenant James Gordon.
The rest of the cast includes Christian Bale as Bruce Wayne/Batman; Michael Caine as his trusted butler Alfred; Katie Holmes as Rachel, a childhood friend of Wayne’s; Liam Neeson as Wayne’s mentor, Henri Ducard; Morgan Freeman as Lucius Fox, a former board member and sidelined employee of Wayne Enterprises; and Ken Watanabe as the villanous Ra’s Al Ghul.
Directed from a script written by David Goyer, how can this not be the best Batman movie ever? Besides, it’s not like it has any real competition.
