LEARN ABOUT “A NECESSARY RUIN” WITH FILMMAKER EVAN MATHER
Filmmaker and landscape architect Evan Mather, along with Buckminster Fuller expert Jonathan Marvel, will be on-hand for a special Q&A at Washington, DC’s National Building Museum on March 22, 2010 after a screening of Mather’s “A Necessary Ruin: The Story of Buckminster Fuller and the Union Tank Car Dome.” The film tells the story of the Union Tank Car Dome, designed by Buckminster Fuller, which was the largest clear-span structure in the world.
The film screens at 6:30pm as part of the the March 16-28, 2010, DC Environmental Film Festival.
