FREDRICK WISEMAN PULLS “THE GARDEN” FROM SUNDANCE LINE-UP
The Sundance Film Festival has announced that, at the request of director Fredrick Wiseman, the documentary entitled THE GARDEN will not be screening at the 2005 Sundance Film Festival. The documentary was scheduled to premier on Saturday, January 22 at 3:45 pm in Salt Lake City.
In a statement issued by Wiseman, he said “There are unresolved issues between me and Madison Square Garden, so I have withdrawn the film THE GARDEN from the Festival. We are discussing these issues with the goal of resolving them so that the documentary can be screened in the very near future.”
