EUGENE HERNANDEZ LEAVES INDIEWIRE FOR FILM SOCIETY OF LINCOLN CENTER
According to Deadline.com, indieWIRE co-founder and editor-in-chief, Eugene Hernandez, is leaving indieWIRE for a new position as Director of Digital Strategy for the Film Society of Lincoln Center in NYC. Eugene co-founded indieWIRE in 1996, and even wrote for Film Threat at one point (bet you didn’t know that). We offer nothing but the sincerest congratulations to Eugene, and offer him the best of luck in his new endeavor!

thanks for the shout-out, mark.
writing for film threat was my first assignment even before i knew i wanted to be a journalist! i went to Sundance for the first time in 1993 and caught the bug writing for FT.
